It's a shame that we start to 'pen' down tributes to mothers only as Mother Day approaches...
suddenly flashbacks of our mother's love & sacrifices played in our mind...
but being human as we are, this is better than nothing....

THANKS UMI, for the love & care you've given me throughout my life..
For your patience, when I was rebelious...
For Always being there, although I misunderstood them as being too suffocating..
For correcting my mistakes, although I thought of you as being too 'backwards'...
and for a million more things that I won't be if not for YOU & the blessings of the ALLAH

She's the place you came from, your first home, your best friend, your keeper of your secrets, always on your side; always to protect you; always to love you.
And nothing on earth can separate you.. Not time, not space...not even death!
To my mum & mum-in-law that I never met (Allayarhamah).
May we never take you for granted.
O Allah, forgive our parents as they looked after us when we were small.
Grant them Jannat al-Firdaus, the Highest stage in Paradise.
Give them that which is best in this world, the best in the hereafter, and Protection from the fire.
O Allah, make them among the residents of Jannah, with the Prophets, the righteous, the muttaqun, and the martyrs.
...Ameen.
