For about a year, my baby hv been playing wif these 2 twin boys (less than a yr older) and they hv been daily companions along the corridor between our houses.
The boys' laughters & cries from the corridor (they always played there) brought my baby rushing to our gate & demanded to go out, even while he's watching his favourite Barney, Cookie Monster or Elmo !
In their bicycles, or just running around... playing with our shoes, or catching bubbles - their laughs, screams & shouts are music to our ears & bring smiles from any neighbours passing by....
Alas, yr friendship developed along the corridor is short... coz Omm & Adhi hv moved...
My baby still constantly goes to our gate, expecting to see & play with you.. calling out your names (whatever it sounds like..)
So very sad... we will definitely miss you dearly boys...(I am already.. sob, sob)
InsyaAllah.. I will bring my baby to play with them once in awhile coz their new home is not so far away from us... with a garden to run around & to get dirty.. hahaha...
But being a Singaporean, I know that this habit of visiting friends & relatives are very rare & few... & soon will be forgotten. At least we will visit our relatives once a year when Eid comes... but friends ?? ... "No time" is our favourite excuse.. but do we really hv No Time or we are juz simply lazy ? .. - lost in our own world...
Moments captured last few days before they leave...

With Omm (sitting) & Adhi (standing).. & my baby kepo - 'jengok rumah orang'...

Playing wif Omm
